Baptism #2

hey,

so this week i have seen another baptism in this area. it was so great. i sent some pics so you can see. he is a little 9 yr old boy named mikko. he is a part memeber family and was so much fun to work with. he has a hard time cuz he is so young, he cant read and needs things to be really simple. he cant say ama namin nasa langit. that means our father in heaven. he always says, ana manin nalanagin. its so funny when he prays.

anyways, my comapanion got sick this week so on monday we didnt work, then tuesday we went to the DR and the DR told him to rest and not work for 3 days. we went home and i sat in my bed thinking and i was tired of resting after about an hour. so i text the wife of the mission pres and asked her to take my companion to the resting house for the missionaries. she told me to be patient so i was. the next morning she text me and told me the office elders would come get him and i would work with the office elder for a few days in my area.

in those 2 days i worked with the office elder we worked so hard. it was funny cuz the office elder is american and he cant speak the language cuz he is new and was put in the office hahaha, but we kicked butt. we got so much done. then my compaionon came back and things got slow again cuz he is not better yet. anyways its been a good week.

im doing well, gettin ready for transfers next week. i wont be able to email till next wednesday here so tuesday there.

i want to thank you all for your letters. i got one from pres bell this week and it was amazing. if only the new members here were like that. i dont think 50% stay active and make it to the temple. but the church is stil very young here and im happy to serve here and help them build up ZION.

i gave a talk in church this sunday. i hate talking in church, i feel that is the members duty, and the missionaries can give testimony, but memebers need to talk in sacrament meeting and teach classes, and pray and answer questions. if its always the elders, the memebers never learn anything and never get the chance to do the things that they ask us to do. anyways, thats jst my feeling on it.

i love you all so much and i thank you all for your letters emails and prayers.
