I'm OK
hey all,
im ok. i was given the chance to write for 7 min to tell you im ok yesterday, but i didnt take it. i was so busy and i didnt think you would even know about the typhoon or bagio as its called in tagalog. it was pretty crazy, trees falling over, lots of flood and rains, high winds, and power out. sunday all of our stake (district) cancled church except our branch. there were 31 ppl there and 6 were non members. the power was out so it was hard to hear what was going on in sacrament meeting. i had to give the sacrament prayer in tagalog. that was my first time doing it. afterwards the brach pres came up to me and said, i didnt think you could do it, but you did great.
well its been almost 3 months now. time is flying by. im so busy working all the time, and i love it. im still losing weight like crazy, my pants keep getting bigger. the food is amazing. its so good.
i went to the temple today, it was so beautiful. it was in tagalog so i got an english translator headset. it was very interesting and a new experience. i loved it though. as soon as i walked in i felt clean. the temple is in the city so there are a lot of worldly things around it, but it so beautiful.
i got some mail from james, grandma, and also aunt tammy. i want to thank them. i hope i have tme to write back today, but im not sure if i will.
well like i said i have been busy, its almost time for transfers. we have a baptism comming up on the 5th of july. its going to be great he is 16 and amazing. we have been blessed to teach him.
thats crazy that shaun is married now. it seems like yesterday he was leaving for his mission. tell him congrats for me.
i found out you can send pics on here, so send away. maybe try a video too. that would be so awsome to see a skate video.
